World Refugee Day Celebration

This internationally-recognized day honors the courage, resilience and strength of refugees the world over. Join us for cultural performances, food tasting and more at will be celebrated  at the RTA Cultural Center.

Meanwhile, The City of Dayton has established the Festival Grants Program for neighborhood organizations that seek funding to support the coordination of festival activities in Dayton. Neighborhood associations, block clubs and business associations located within the city of Dayton are eligible to apply. No more than two applications will be accepted per organization, with the maximum grant award not to exceed $500 annually.
Applications for 2016 grants are available beginning April 1. Applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis through October 31. The application for an event must be submitted to the Department of Planning & Community Development 30 days prior to the scheduled event.
