Applications are now being accepted for the Corinthian Manufacturing job skills training program , an initiative designed to give individuals the tools needed to be successful in the manufacturing field.There will be an orientation session this coming Tuesday, March 1st at 11 am, at the Corinthian Baptist Church located at 700 S James H McGee Blvd; Dayton, Ohio 45402.The individuals who are completing training in this program are reported to have demonstrated dedication and skill and are ready for hire at Dayton region manufacturing facilities.
For the current class of students, the program will begin March 1st, and run for 6 weeks or less, depending on the assessment level of the students upon starting the program.
Elements of the Program
-Remedial tutoring in math and reading
-Soft skills training – attendance, resume writing, professionalism, work ethic, etc.
-Manufacturing job preparation coaching
-ACT National Career Readiness Certification (please see more about the ACT NCRC certification below)
