The Dayton Police Department is now accepting applications for the . This will give Dayton-area residents the opportunity to learn about the Dayton Police Department and to work with our officers to promote safety in our community.
Academy details
The citizen’s academy will be on Thursday evenings starting September 1, 2016 and will conclude after 12 weeks.
The classes will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Dayton Police Academy – 3237 Guthrie Road.
Selection process
The size of the class will be limited, so please respond quickly to ensure your place in the academy. To reserve your spot in the academy, please email me at christopher.pawelski@daytonohio.gov.
