Free Nutrition Series Opens for Parents

Nutrition Education for Parents,” a free series of classes at the Dayton Metro Library’s Belmont Branch Mondays, March 7-April 18, 5:00-6:30 p.m. The Belmont Library is located at1041 Watervliet Ave, Dayton, OH 45420.

According to a statement from Chuck Duritsch, the nutrition series offers cost-saving tips, easy meal preparation and nutrition information for parents who often struggle to prepare healthy, nutritious meals on a budget, while juggling busy schedules .

 

The classes, led by Martin from the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program of the OSU Extension. at the Belmont Branch Library, located at 1041 Watervliet Avenue in Dayton. Each class includes a healthy food demonstration and free tools participants can take home.

While the classes are free, space is limited and advance registration is required by calling (937) 463-BOOK or registering on the Events calendar  here
