Essence Fest Rocks New Orleans In Loud Colors

The 2025 edition of New Orleans ESSENCE Festival Held over Fourth of July weekend at the Caesars Superdome and throughout downtown New Orleans, with the theme We Are “Made Like This.” The three days event featured musical star, including  Boyz II Men, Davido, Maxwell, Master P, GloRilla, The Isley Brothers, Nas, and Summer Walker. Jermaine Dupri was also in town to perform a tribute to legendary producer Quincy Jones​.

In addition to the concerts at the Superdome, the 2025 ESSENCE Fest brought a slew of big names performers, artistes and creatives to New Orleans for large evening performances, intimate lounge shows, and DJ parties. By day, the Empowerment Experience spotlights dozens of speakers on thought-provoking topics such as religion, economics, and education.

The festival was also a celebration of African arts and Culture with colorful displays from all over the African Diaspora at every corner of the city. Below are some vistas and images from the different locations around the Superdome and across the city of New Orleans.
