Forum on Trump’s Immigration Ban holds Wednesday

Welcome Dayton, an initiative of the City of Dayton, OH  is hosting a community forum regarding president Donald Trump’s Exec Orders THIS Wednesday, February 8th. It will be at 6:30pm in the Smith Auditorium at Sinclair Community College, Building 12. If you are directly impacted by any of the Executive Orders or simply want additional information, this is a great opportunity to learn more and have your questions answered by immigration attorneys, Jessica Ramos and David Larson.

Mr.Trump’s order bars citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries — Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen — from entering the US for 90 days, all refugees for 120 days and indefinitely halts refugees from Syria but the enforcement of the order was halted by Seattle Federal Judge James Robart, a George W. Bush appointee, last Friday. Since then, the country has been in the midst of a second straight weekend of widespread uncertainty over the controversial ban.
